PRESSURE OF 981 MB...28.97 INCHES...CENTERED OVER THE NORTHEAST
PACIFIC CONTINUES TO FEED MOISTURE INTO THE WESTERN U.S. A FRONTAL
SYSTEM EXTENDING TO THE SOUTHEAST OF THE LOW HAS PUSHED ONSHORE IN
THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS AND
SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED SCATTERED TO WIDESPREAD
PRECIPITATION ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA...WESTERN
OREGON AND WASHINGTON...AS WELL AS OVER PORTIONS OF THE
INTER-MOUNTAIN WEST. THE MAJORITY OF THE PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE
REGION IS FALLING AS LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN. HOWEVER...SNOW IS

ADDITIONAL 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS...WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS COASTAL AREAS OF CENTRAL AND
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AS WELL AS OREGON AND WASHINGTON. FLOODING AND
FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. AT HIGHER
ELEVATIONS...WHERE SNOW IS FALLING...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 FEET OF
SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH TUESDAY.
