THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE LIFTING NORTHEASTWARD INTO
CANADA TODAY. SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE MIDWEST WILL TAPER OFF BUT
LAKE EFFECT SNOWS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE UPPER GREAT LAKES IN ITS
WAKE. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN. IN THE NORTHEAST...COLD AIR WILL
INITIALLY HANG ON ACROSS NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND...ALLOWING FOR
SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW TO ACCUMULATE BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO RAIN
LATER TODAY ONCE THE WARM FRONT LIFTS THROUGH. FURTHER
SOUTH...HEAVY RAIN COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING ACROSS PORTIONS OF
THE MID ATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 2 TO 4
INCHES IS POSSIBLE FROM THE FLORIDA GULF COAST TO THE CAROLINAS.
THE NEXT STORM SUMMARY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE WEATHER PREDICTION
CENTER AT 300 PM CST. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE OFFICE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS EVENT.
