WINTER STORM WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT ACROSS THE SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
OF SOUTHWEST COLORADO AND NORTH CENTRAL NM.

AT 100 AM MST...A SURFACE LOW WITH CENTRAL PRESSURE OF 1004
MB...OR 29.65 INCHES LOCATED NEAR BRYCE CANYON IN SOUTHERN UTAH. A
COLD FRONT PRECEDED THE LOW AND WAS RAPIDLY MOVING EASTWARD
EXTENDING NORTH TO SOUTH FROM THE FOUR CORNERS SOUTH INTO
SOUTHEAST AZ AND THE NORTHERN GULF OF CALIFORNIA. MUCH OF THE
HEAVY RAINFALL HAD ENDED BUT MODERATE SHOWERS CONTINUED IN ADVANCE
OF THE COLD FRONT. YESTERDAY...HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURRED ACROSS
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WHICH LED TO FLASH FLOODING
INCLUDING DEBRIS FLOWS AND MUD SLIDES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE
HEAVY RAIN WAS ALSO ACCOMPANIED BY HIGH WINDS UP TO 70 MPH MAINLY
ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
