THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER LOWER MICHIGAN WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
NORTHEASTWARD INTO SOUTHERN ONTARIO CANADA LATER TODAY AND INTO
SOUTHERN QUEBEC TOMORROW. THE REMAINING SNOW AND AREAS OF
FREEZING RAIN ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST AND THE UPPER GREAT LAKES
WILL CONTINUE TO TAPER OFF TODAY AS THE STORM CENTER MOVES INTO
CANADA. UP TO A FEW ADDITIONAL INCHES OF SNOW IS STILL POSSIBLE ON
THE LEE SIDE OF THE LOWER GREAT LAKES. MEANWHILE...SNOW ACROSS
NORTHERN MAINE SHOULD ACCUMULATE UP TO A FOOT NEAR THE CANADIAN
BORDER BEFORE MILDER AIR FROM THE SOUTH CHANGES THE SNOW TO
FREEZING RAIN DURING THE DAY. UP TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE
IS POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN MAINE. LIGHTER AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED
FARTHER SOUTH INTO CENTRAL NEW ENGLAND.
THE NEXT STORM SUMMARY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE WEATHER PREDICTION
CENTER AT 900 AM CST. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE OFFICE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS EVENT.
