AT MIDNIGHT EDT THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION GEORGES WAS
LOCATED BETWEEN TALLAHASSEE AND PERRY, FLORIDA. WINDS WERE
BLOWING AT 5-15 MPH OVER LAND WITH SOME 20-30 MPH WINDS OVER THE
WESTERN ATLANTIC. THE CENTRAL PRESSURE HAS RISEN TO 1008 MB AS THE
SYSTEM CONTINUED TO WEAKEN. THE SURFACE CIRCULATION WILL MOVE INTO
THE ATLANTIC THURSDAY MORNING OR AFTERNOON.
MUCH OF THE HEAVY RAIN HAS MOVED OFFSHORE, EXCEPT FOR A VERY THIN
BAND OF HEAVY RAIN FROM SPRING HILL THROUGH OCALA TO ST. AUGUSTINE.
A FLOOD WATCH IS STILL IN EFFECT FOR A SMALL PART OF NORTHEAST
FLORIDA THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. COUNTIES INCLUDED IN THE WATCH
ARE ALACHUA, BRADFORD, CLAY, DUVAL, NASSAU, PUTNAM AND ST. JOHNS.
THIS WILL BE THE LAST SUMMARY FOR TROPICAL DEPRESSION GEORGES.
