...Tropical storm force winds and moderate to heavy rainfall
impact the central Gulf Coast...

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect across southern Louisiana.

Storm Surge Watches and Warnings are in effect across much of the
Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Flood and Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for much of the Lower
Mississippi Valley.

At 900 PM CDT...National Weather Service radars, satellite and
surface observations indicated moderate to heavy rainfall bands
extending from eastern Louisiana up through the central Gulf Coast
and into Mississippi. Strong winds were also observed along the
Central Gulf Coast to the east of the storm. Below are preliminary
