...Bands of rain and winds gusting locally to tropical storm force
are impacting portions of the southeast coastline from northeast
Florida to southeast North Carolina...

Hurricane and Tropical Storm Warnings, along with Storm Surge
Warnings are in effect for coastal areas of the Southeast and
southern Mid-Atlantic states from Florida to southeast Virginia,
including the lower Chesapeake Bay.

Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of southeast
Virginia, eastern North Carolina, eastern South Carolina,
southeast Georgia and northeast Florida.

At 400 PM EDT...National Weather service radar and surface
observations showed bands of showers, some locally heavy,
impacting coastal areas from northeast Florida up across southeast
North Carolina. Locally strong and gusty winds to tropical storm
force are also being observed along portions of Florida's east
coast northeast up across coastal areas of Georgia and South
Carolina. Below are preliminary rainfall and wind observations
