...Tropical-storm-force winds and heavy rains continuing to impact
portions of eastern South Carolina and eastern North Carolina,
with several brief tornadoes possible across eastern North
Carolina through tonight...
Hurricane and Tropical Storm Warnings, along with Storm Surge
Warnings are in effect for coastal areas of the Southeast and
southern Mid-Atlantic states from Georgia to southeast Virginia,
including the lower Chesapeake Bay.
Tropical Storm Watches are in effect for the central portion of
the Chesapeake Bay, the Maryland eastern shore, as well as extreme
southeastern New England.
Tornado Watches are in effect for portions of eastern North
Carolina and northeastern South Carolina.
Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of southeastern
Virginia, eastern North Carolina and eastern South Carolina.

At 1000 AM EDT...National Weather service radar and surface
observations showed bands of showers, some locally heavy,
impacting portions of eastern to central South Carolina and
southeastern to central North Carolina. Numerous supercells
embedded within these bands continue to produce tornadoes, with
tornado warnings currently in effect for portions of eastern North
Carolina. Locally strong and gusty winds to tropical storm force
are being observed across portions of southeastern Georgia,
eastern South Carolina and eastern North Carolina. Below are
