...Extremely heavy rainfall ongoing as Tropical Depression Imelda
drifts over southeast Texas...

Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of eastern Texas
and western Louisiana. Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for
coastal southeast Texas north of Galveston, including a few Flash
Flood emergencies. Flood Warnings are scattered across coastal
areas of these states.

At 300 AM CDT...National Weather Service radar and surface
observations showed an area of extremely heavy rainfall associated
with Tropical Depression Imelda continuing over southeast Texas.
The heaviest rainfall was falling over Jefferson and Liberty
counties in Texas. For more information regarding the location and
