and western Louisiana. Flash Flood Warnings and Emergencies are in
effect from the northern Houston metro to southwestern Louisiana.
Flood Warnings are scattered across southeast Texas and southwest
Louisiana.

At 900 AM CDT...National Weather Service radar and surface
observations showed an area of extremely heavy rainfall associated
with Tropical Depression Imelda continuing over southeast Texas
and approaching southwest Louisiana. For more information
