Post-Tropical Cyclone Olga will track north-northeast through the
Lower Mississippi Valley this morning and shift into the Wabash
River Valley along the Illinois/Indiana border this evening. Olgas
circulation was already becoming enhanced by a northern stream
closed low currently over northeast Oklahoma, helping to build a
broad shield of moderate precipitation in advance of the surface
low which was lifting north into the Great Lakes. Additional heavy
rainfall and some flash flooding and/or longer-duration flooding
may occur. Flash Flood Watches and Flood Advisories are in effect
across the Mississippi River Valley through this afternoon. For
the latest rainfall forecast associated with Olga please refer to
www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 500 PM EDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
