...Heavy rain and gusty winds affiliated with Tropical Storm Elsa
continue across portions of New England...
Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of Connecticut and
Long Island, far southeastern New York, as well as parts of
Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Flood Warnings are in effect along portions of interior rivers in
Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Flash Flood Watches are in effect for far northeastern
Pennsylvania, and portions of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts,
New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and far
southern Vermont.
Flood Advisories are in effect for portions of New Jersey, far
southeastern New York, and parts of southern Connecticut.
Tropical Storm Warnings remain in effect for portions of Long
Island, portions of Connecticut along Long Island Sound, Rhode
Island, portions of eastern Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts
Atlantic Coast to the New Hampshire border.

At 1000 AM EDT...Persistently steady to heavy rainfall and gusty
winds were ongoing from the Tri-State Area north and east through
Massachusetts, Rhode Island, as well as far southern Vermont,
south-central New Hampshire, and southern and central Maine as
Tropical Storm Elsa continued to move northeast into New England.
