...Heavy Rain and Wind associated with Hurricane Ian continues to
spread across the Florida peninsula...

Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of Western Florida.

Flood Watches are in effect for most of the Florida peninsula into
portions of far Southeastern Georgia.

At 1030AM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler Radar and surface
observations indicated that heavy rainfall around Hurricane Ian is
generally located off the coast of Southwestern Florida near the
center of the storm, and extends throughout Central Florida along
a stationary boundary. Below are preliminary rainfall and wind
observations associated with Hurricane Ian. Strong winds from Ian
may have led to under-reporting of rainfall in the areas of
