...Heavy Rain and Wind associated with Hurricane Ian continue to
batter the Florida Peninsula...

Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of Western Florida.

Flood Watches are in effect for most of the Florida peninsula into
portions of far Southeastern Georgia.

At 900 PM EDT...The center of Hurricane Ian was analyzed between
Fort Myers and Lake Okeechobee at 27.2N, 81.7W with a central
pressure of 960 mb (28.34 in Hg). National Weather Service Doppler
Radar observed very heavy tropical rainfall containing rainfall
rates upwards of 3 inches per hour north and west of Ian's center.
Below are preliminary rainfall and wind observations associated
with Hurricane Ian. Strong winds from Ian may have led to
under-reporting of rainfall in the areas of strongest winds. For
