the East Coast from Florida to New Jersey.
Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of Central Florida,
South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
Flood Watches are in effect for portions of South Carolina, North
Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Wind Advisories are in effect for portions of Georgia, South
Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and
Maryland.

At 1100 PM EDT...Post-Tropical Cyclone Ian has moved inland over
the Carolinas and will continue to push north through Saturday.
National Weather Service Doppler Radar observed tropical rainfall
north and west of Ian's center and along a frontal boundary
extending from the system to the northeast. Below are preliminary
rainfall and wind observations associated with Ian. Strong winds
from Ian may have led to under-reporting of rainfall in the areas
of strongest winds. For more information regarding the location
