...Heavy Rain associated with Post-Tropical Cyclone Ian continues
to spread inland...

Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of Central Florida and
Northeastern South Carolina.

Flood Watches are in effect for portions of Southern West Virginia
and Southwest Virginia.

Coastal Flood Watches and Warnings are in effect for portions of
the East Coast from Florida to New Jersey.

At 1000 AM EDT...Post-Tropical Cyclone Ian continues to move
inland over the Carolinas as it obtains more extratropical
characteristics. National Weather Service Doppler Radar observed
rainfall north and west of Ian's center and along a frontal
boundary extending from the system to the northeast. Below are
preliminary rainfall and wind observations associated with Ian.
Strong winds from Ian may have led to under-reporting of rainfall
in the areas of strongest winds. For more information regarding
