...Winds and heavy rain continue over the Florida Peninsula as
Tropical Storm Nicole moves across Florida...

Florida.

Wind Advisories are in effect for inland portions of the Southeast.

At 900 AM EST...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
that multiple bands of heavy rainfall were overspreading over
portions of northern, western, and central Florida. The most
widespread, heaviest rain was currently located in a band
stretching from Duval County through Dixie County. An additional
rain band has set up over the coast of St. Petersburg, FL. In
addition, surface observations indicated winds throughout much of
Central Florida, including Orlando, Sanford, and Okeechobee are
20-35 mph with gusts of 45 mph or more. For more information
